Summary
Superior Forge & Steel is seeking a Bricklayer to join their Maintenance Department in Lima, OH. The role involves providing bricklaying and mechanical skills to support production and plant maintenance needs.
About the Role
As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for installing brick and fiber refractory in steel melting equipment and furnaces. Your duties will include preventative maintenance on heat treat equipment, installation and repair of refractory materials, maintaining equipment for bricklaying operations, and timely reporting of equipment issues. You will also perform other department duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math skills required.
- Must be receptive to occasional shift flexibility and overtime.
Preferred:
- Previous construction experience.
- Previous masonry experience.
