About the Role
About You
- A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with an emphasis in bridge engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited university.
- Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Internship in the structural design of bridges and/or buildings.
- Successful completion of structural/bridge engineering coursework such as Prestressed Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Steel Design, Structural Dynamics, Earthquake Engineering, Foundation Design, and Timber Design.
- Experience with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and Department of Transportation bridge design standards.
- Experience with computer analysis software systems including AutoCAD, PGSuper, Risa 3D, MathCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
- Experience working as part of a multi-discipline design team.
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
