About the Role
As a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, you will lead inspection projects for bridges, tunnels, and ancillary structures. Your responsibilities include performing structural engineering work, preparing load ratings, developing plans using AutoCAD, and providing guidance to entry-level engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support various engineering tasks while ensuring adherence to safety and ethical standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in bridge, tunnel or ancillary inspection or design.
- Engineer in Training Certification (PE Preferred).
- Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Physically capable of performing continuous field work, including working at heights.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Advanced proficiency with technical writing and Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer Certification.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Active participation in local professional practice organizations.
