About the Role
As a Broadband Tech/Commercial Fiber Tech, you will be responsible for fusion splicing of fiber optic cables, interpreting fiber documentation, installing fiber enclosures, and maintaining fiber asset inventory. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure the integrity of the fiber network and provide detailed reports of field activities.
About You
Required:
- Two+ years of experience with fiber optics.
- Ability to test and record findings of OTDR.
- Must be able to read an optical power meter to determine optical light.
- Ability to properly read fiber documentation and interpret fiber descriptors.
