MetalTek International is seeking a Bronze Foundry General Foundry worker for the 3rd shift at their Wisconsin Centrifugal Division in Waukesha, WI. The role involves operating centrifugal casting machines and performing melt operations in a leading metal component manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include performing charge preparation and melt operations; setting up and operating centrifugal casting machines to produce castings to close tolerances; selecting, inserting, positioning, checking sizes, and securing dies and cores; mounting, securing, cleaning, and spraying molds; slagging off and pouring metal at proper temperatures; adhering to melt and casting processes through controls, measuring, and documentation; recommending process improvements; participating in Pour Groups and teams to improve casting production; maintaining clean, orderly, and safe facilities; directing, assisting, and training other operators and helpers; preparing and sending metal samples to the lab for analysis; calculating and making adjustments to heats; maintaining accurate records of melt activity and heat sheets; preparing and inspecting shells; assisting in die setups and metal transfer including operation of overhead crane; cleaning and maintaining furnaces and related equipment; repairing and rebuilding furnaces and ladle linings as needed.
