Jobot is seeking a BSA Audit Officer to join their team in Seal Beach, CA. The role involves ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other related anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
About the Role
As a BSA Audit Officer, you will conduct regular audits, develop and maintain compliance policies, coordinate with departments on compliance issues, identify vulnerabilities, and provide reports on compliance efforts. You will play a key role in integrating the BSA/AML compliance program into daily operations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit and BSA compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of the BSA and AML regulations, as well as the mortgage industry.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory materials.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification.
