About the Role
As a Building Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting daily field inspections of residential, commercial, and public facility construction projects. You will interact with the public, explain technical information, review plans and engineering calculations, provide recommendations on code interpretations, maintain accurate records of inspections, and enter results into permitting software.
About You
Required:
- ICC Residential Inspector Certification required.
- 3+ years of experience interpreting building codes in the field.
Preferred:
- ICC Commercial Inspector Certification preferred.
- CA specific licenses and certifications preferred.
- CASp Certification is a plus.
