About the Role
As a Building Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and bed repairs. You will troubleshoot issues, read and work from blueprints and technical manuals, and maintain a safe work environment while working independently with minimal supervision.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and competence in the use of hand tools, meters, measuring devices, and gauges.
- Ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Preferred:
- Trade school or vocational school preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience in building systems preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record may be required.
