Silicontek Inc is seeking a Business Analyst (POS/integrations/payments) to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and support the delivery of retail technology solutions.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements related to POS, payments, and retail integrations. You will analyze current retail store systems, create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Additionally, you will support POS implementations and assist in defining integration requirements between POS and various enterprise systems.
About You
Required:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Retail industry.
Strong experience working with Retail POS systems.
Experience with payment processing, payment gateways, and retail transaction flows.
Experience defining integration requirements between POS and enterprise systems.
Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred:
Experience with modern POS platforms such as NCR, Oracle Retail, Square, Shopify POS, or similar systems.
Understanding of payment technologies such as credit cards, digital wallets, tokenization, and PCI compliance.
Experience with API-based integrations and middleware platforms.
Prior experience supporting large retail chains or multi-store environments.
