Bank of America is seeking a Business Control Manager - Global AML & Onboarding Operations to join their team in Kennesaw, GA. The role involves leading and executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within the Global Anti-Money Laundering and Onboarding Operations.
About the Role
As a Business Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the QA/QC team, executing testing to measure adherence to AML/Financial Crimes Global Standard requirements, and implementing optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance practices. You will lead the assessment of the risk and control environment, manage team performance, and ensure timely execution of QA activities while acting as an ambassador of the risk culture.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years people management experience
- 3+ years in Anti-Money Laundering, Quality Control/Assurance Testing, Management, Process Risk Control, internal audit, risk management, process improvement, compliance, or similar business control experience
- Documented experience in a process-oriented environment
- Ability to critically think and problem solve
- Effective communication abilities and organizational skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau
Preferred:
- ACAMS Certification
- Experience as a manager of managers
- Working knowledge of Risk Controls and QA/QC Framework
- Knowledge of Anti-money Laundering concepts/regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
