About You
- Strong knowledge of public procurement, cooperative purchasing models, and government contracting.
- Demonstrated successful history in business development, sales, and/or procurement.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to explain complex procurement processes in a clear and compelling manner.
- Organized and able to work effectively independently and in a collaborative group setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and written communications skills.
- Experience working with government agencies, educational institutions, or nonprofit organizations.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations such as state/local purchasing laws, GSA schedules, or cooperative agreements.
- Supervisory/staff development experience.
- Master’s degree.
