Summary
CannonDesign is seeking a Business Development Leader II to join their team in Boston, MA. The role focuses on providing strategic and tactical business development leadership to advance the firm's client engagement strategies.
About the Role
As a Business Development Leader II, you will partner with the Executive Director of the East Region to lead and support Market and Client Leaders in positioning the firm for new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include developing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and amplifying the regional vision through strategic action plans. You will also oversee business development activities, manage a pipeline of opportunities, and collaborate with various leaders to ensure alignment with the firm's growth strategies.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 12 years of related work experience in marketing/business development roles, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in the development and implementation of marketing business plans.
- Exceptional client and people leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
Preferred:
- Experience with CRM Platforms, such as Salesforce.
- Additional education and/or certifications/training in business development.
