About the Role
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring new merchants and assisting them in achieving higher orders and gross merchandise volume (GMV). Your daily tasks will include arranging in-person meetings to negotiate contracts, maintaining existing relationships with merchants, conducting regular visits, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions according to customer needs. You will also liaise with marketing and delivery operations to align strategies aimed at increasing GMV.
About You
Required:
- Fluency in Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the foodservice or delivery industry.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- High sensitivity to market trends and data.
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent people skills.
- Valid driver license and a vehicle.
Preferred:
- Experience in negotiating contracts with merchants.
- Ability to work independently and complete business negotiations efficiently.
