Babolat is seeking a Business Leader / Marketing Director Pickleball to join their team, preferably based in a strong Pickleball community on the East Coast US. The role involves creating and driving the global Pickleball category strategy to improve market share and profitable growth.
About the Role
As the Business Leader / Marketing Director Pickleball, you will lead the implementation of Babolat's strategy for the global rollout of Pickleball, focusing on the US market. You will develop the vision and category strategy, oversee product innovation, manage the category's P&L, and lead a diverse team to drive performance and collaboration. Your responsibilities will also include developing marketing strategies, executing communication plans, and managing relationships with external partners.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of seven years related experience in the pickleball/sporting goods industry.
- Strong understanding of on-and-offline distribution.
- Experience working internationally.
- Proven experience in multiple marketing disciplines including product development and brand strategy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred:
- MBA is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in project management and budget oversight.
- Resourcefulness and creativity in problem-solving.
