About the Role
As a Business Office Manager, you will supervise business office staff, manage credit and collections, and direct all aspects of the Business Office including accounting, insurance, internal controls, accounts payable, auditing of patient accounts, scheduling, admissions, medical records, and claims processing. The position requires weekdays only, with no holidays or weekends.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related business experience.
- Thorough understanding of the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of governmental regulations.
- High level of proficiency in computer applications.
- Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making.
Preferred:
- Three years of management experience including three years in a health care organization.
- Additional appropriate education may be substituted for two years of fiscal management experience.
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the general public.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management regarding fiscal policies.
