About You
- High School Diploma is required; one or two years of college preferred.
- At least 1 year of hospital business office experience or a minimum of 3 years of experience in the collection field.
- Overall knowledge of business office procedures and hospital policies.
- General knowledge of third-party payors, collection procedures, and collection laws.
- Excellent telephone communication skills and computer literacy.
- Working knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
