About the Role
As a Manager in the Passthrough Transactions Group, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to design and execute large-scale partnership transactions. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial models, assessing deal structures, and managing a team of tax professionals. You will also engage in writing Tax Alerts, teaching courses, and collaborating with senior management on consulting opportunities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, Financial Engineering or Statistics.
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization.
- CPA certification or membership in The Bar.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Broad exposure to federal income taxation, with an emphasis on partnership taxation.
- Proficient with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Willing and able to learn and work independently with minimal supervision.
