Bowman Consulting is seeking a Business Unit Operations Manager to join their team in either Lacey or Seattle, WA. The role involves overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of branch offices within a business unit, supporting the Regional Manager and Business Unit Director.
About the Role
As a Business Unit Operations Manager, you will provide oversight and guidance to Branch Managers, develop strategies and budgets, manage engineering staff, and ensure effective execution of services. You will also assist in marketing the firm's capabilities, manage project financial performance, and foster trusted relationships with clients and contractors.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Ten or more (10+) years of experience managing engineering projects, with at least two years leading a multidisciplinary team or managing a branch office.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- P.E. License.
- Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
