Summary
LMI is seeking a C-UAS Engineer to lead planning and execution of test and evaluation projects for their DHS client in New York City. The role requires strong project management abilities and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
About the Role
As a C-UAS Engineer, you will provide engineering support to NUSTL’s Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Programs. Your responsibilities will include integrating C-UAS systems, providing hands-on operations support, developing documentation, assisting with customer requirements, and collecting and analyzing test data. You will also assist in drafting test planning documents and project management reports.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering and technical experience; 1+ years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to pass a DHS background investigation and obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred:
- Interdisciplinary engineering skillsets.
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS API for Python).
- Part 107 UAS Certification.
