Summary
Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a CAD / CAM Technician to join their team in Jeannette, PA. The role involves producing and maintaining 3D relational geometry libraries for manufactured parts and supporting CNC machining processes.
About the Role
As a CAD / CAM Technician, you will be responsible for creating family table-based part models, maintaining a 3D library of CNC machine tables, and coordinating with manufacturing engineers to develop machining programs. You will also provide technical support for parts kits, design layouts, and ensure the accuracy of drawings. Your role is critical for achieving Service Parts goals related to manufacturing automation.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s Degree in computer aided design and/or computer aided manufacturing.
- 6 years' experience in 3D modeling in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office utilities.
Preferred:
- Direct experience with PTC Creo CAD and CAM software packages.
- Experience with modeling automation and producing BOMs from CAD models.
- Knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals.
