About the Role
As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining revision-controlled 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. You will produce manufacturing-ready CAD, apply ASME Y14 standards including GD&T, support engineering change control activities, and maintain compliant documentation. Collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Operations is essential to ensure documentation meets customer and regulatory requirements.
About You
Required:
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks CAD.
- Strong working knowledge of ASME Y14 standards, including GD&T.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably regulated (AS, ISO, or similar).
- Demonstrated attention to detail with strong revision and configuration control discipline.
- Experience supporting engineering change management processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering, material, and process specifications.
Preferred:
- SolidWorks PDM experience (data management, revision control, workflows).
- Experience with secure file transfer tools (ShareFile, SharePoint).
- CAD translation and comparison tools (TransMagic, Kubotek, Brava).
- Working knowledge of SQL databases.
