About the Role
As a Call Center Clinical Specialist PT, you will be responsible for determining appropriate levels of care for referrals, initiating referrals to selected providers, providing re-authorization of SUD/Mental Health/co-occurring services, and assisting clients with additional information for treatment services. You will evaluate clinical appropriateness, establish funding eligibility, conduct follow-ups with clients, and monitor compliance with services. Additionally, you will manage client care through the MH-WIN system and provide community callers with information related to resources.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, Human Services, Social Services, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of professional clinical experience in behavioral healthcare or a community mental health setting.
- Valid State of Michigan clinical licensure: RN, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LLP or PhD.
- Valid State of Michigan Driver's License with a safe and acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of DWIHN policies, procedures, and operations.
- Experience with screening and assessment tools for behavioral health services.
- Familiarity with the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria (ASAM).
