About the Role
As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, providing information to patients, gathering insurance data, and assisting with follow-up calls. You will also enter data into the EMR system and communicate with medical records and external offices as needed.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited technical school or one year experience in a medical office setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Formal computer training or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of dental/medical terminology and anatomy.
- Knowledge of insurance and patient billing and reimbursement.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and medical practice management software.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
