About the Role
As a CAM Engineer, you will be responsible for performing design rule analysis of printed circuit boards, verifying customer requirements, reporting discrepancies, modifying PCB images for compliance, and creating computer files for data output. You will work on complex jobs involving sequential lamination and high layer counts, ensuring all internal documentation is completed accurately.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years or more of experience in PCB industry or manufacturing
- Working knowledge of the PCB industry and processes
- 3 years or more of CAM experience in the PCB manufacturing sector
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Team player
Preferred:
- Technical certificate or Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- Coursework in engineering drafting or design, AutoCAD, electric circuits, computer-aided manufacturing, manufacturing or process engineering, or similar courses
