Summary
Madison Area YMCA is hiring a Camp Lifeguard to ensure a safe, positive, and engaging aquatic environment for campers and staff during the summer camp season.
About the Role
As a Camp Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas, demonstrating lifeguard skills, and serving as a positive role model for campers. You will also participate in mandatory training sessions and ensure adherence to YMCA policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Certified lifeguard or willing to obtain certification prior to the start of camp.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with youth (camp experience preferred).
Preferred:
- Ability to demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
- Strong sense of safety, responsibility, and supervision.
Benefits
