Madison Area YMCA is hiring a Camp Lifeguard to ensure a safe, positive, and engaging aquatic environment for campers and staff during the summer camp season.
About the Role
As a Camp Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas, demonstrating lifeguard skills, and serving as a positive role model for campers. You will also participate in mandatory training sessions and ensure adherence to YMCA policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
Certified lifeguard or willing to obtain certification prior to the start of camp.
Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience working with youth (camp experience preferred).
Preferred:
Ability to demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
Strong sense of safety, responsibility, and supervision.
