About the Role
About You
- Must be 18 years of age.
- 3 years previous experience in camping, recreation, teaching, or childcare.
- Must have knowledge of and certification (if necessary) in a specific specialty (i.e., art, drama, science).
- Excellent human relations skills, good organizational and communication skills.
- Must have a CPR/AED and First Aid Certification or get certified within 90 days of employment.
- Maturity, patience, and the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the mission and values of the YMCA.
- The ability to articulate and model YMCA's four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
