About the Role

As a Camp Supervisor, you will manage a team of Leads and Counselors, ensuring developmentally appropriate activities are provided to participants. You will implement program activities, follow YMCA policies, engage with parents, and maintain a safe environment for campers. The position requires overseeing recreational activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and nature hikes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

About You

Required:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Completed 30 credits of 100-level or above college-level coursework.
2-3 years’ experience working with children in camps, childcare, tutoring, or nannying.
1-3 years' experience supervising a team of 3 or more.
Experience planning and implementing group activities.
Completion of minimum STARS required training, CPR/First Aid Training.
Cleared Portable Background Check in the statewide registry MERIT.

Preferred:

Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
