About the Role
As a Cancer Center Scheduler, you will collaborate with physician offices and patients to schedule appointments, manage resources, and ensure all necessary documentation is collected for patient registration and billing. You will also verify insurance pre-certifications, coordinate inter-department services, and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in patient care.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
Preferred:
- Proficient computer skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and endoscopic and/or surgical procedures.
- Experience with a variety of insurance companies.
