About the Role
As a Cancer Registrar Oncology Data Specialist (ODS), you will be responsible for case abstraction, data management, compliance and reporting, quality assurance, long-term patient follow-up, and tumor board coordination. You will ensure the integrity of cancer registry data and stay updated with coding standards and registry operations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent with additional course in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Must be an Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) through the National Cancer Registrar’s Association (NCRA) or in process of becoming eligible to take ODS-C exam.
Preferred:
- At least two years’ experience as a Cancer Registrar/ODS.
- Previous experience in a health-related field, preferably medical records, medical office, or nursing.
Benefits
- Full-time position with assigned work hours Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm and Friday’s 6:30am - 3:00pm.
- Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.82.
- Hourly Night Shift Differential: $4.23.
