About the Role
As a Captives Executive Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting workers compensation, general liability, and commercial auto for Captive programs. You will analyze underwriting information, manage program aspects such as actuarial pricing and claims oversight, and work closely with internal and external partners to drive growth and achieve underwriting excellence.
About You
Required:
- BS/BA degree, advanced degree preferred and/or relevant industry designation (i.e. CPCU, ARM, etc.)
- 5+ years underwriting commercial casualty lines experience
- Strong loss responsive or captive program and pricing knowledge
- Superior relationship building skills including influencing and negotiation skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Captive insurance programs
- Experience underwriting construction accounts
- Robust problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
