About the Role
As a Cardiac EKG/Stress Technician, you will explain procedures to patients, gather assessment data for physician review, ensure adequate equipment and supplies for testing, maintain accurate records, and assist in monitoring patients during stress tests. You will also participate in process improvement and communicate with various departments as needed.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalency.
- Experience as an EKG Technician, Cardiology Technician, or Exercise Physiologist with knowledge of Cardiology Stress Testing, EKG, Holter & Event Testing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Ability to use Information Systems, e.g. Meditech, McKession.
