About the Role
As a Cardiac Perfusionist, you will work under the direction of the cardiac surgeon, providing technical and clinical support to the perioperative care team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the proper functioning of the heart-lung machine and monitoring patient vitals during surgery. You will also participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain your skills and knowledge in perfusion.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of perfusion.
- NYS perfusion licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability to handle mechanical equipment and instruments.
