Atrium Health is seeking a Cardiothoracic OR - Full-Time NP/PA to join their surgical team in Winston-Salem and High Point, North Carolina. The role involves providing patient care in the operating room and supporting cardiac surgeries.
About the Role
As a Cardiothoracic OR NP/PA, you will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations, collaborating with the medical team, ordering and interpreting diagnostic procedures, and participating in research projects. You will also provide cardiac OR coverage, including nights and weekends, and support both surgical cases in High Point and Winston-Salem.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License or North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree preferred for Physician Assistant.
- APP post-graduate experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Experience with vein harvesting.
