About the Role
As a Cardiothoracic Surgical Technician, you will function as the scrub person during operative procedures, prepare and organize sterile supplies, maintain an organized sterile field, retrieve and label specimens, and demonstrate knowledge of patient rights and responsibilities. You will also adapt to the special instrument and supply needs for various patient populations.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification.
- Certified Surgical Technologist or Certified Surgical First Technologist certification.
- 2 years' experience in an Operating Room.
Preferred:
- Experience in a cardiovascular operating room.
