About the Role

As a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist, you will prepare the operating room, organize surgical instruments and supplies, and ensure a sterile environment. You will assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies, while maintaining infection control standards. The role requires close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and procedural efficiency.

About You

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification and Surgical Technologist Licensure required if license is required in the state of practice.
1 year of experience in cardio or thoracic surgery required.
In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, instrumentation, and procedures.

Preferred:

Trade School Graduate preferred.
In-depth learning or knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, tissue exposure, surgical flow, and advanced techniques in cardiac surgery specialty.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
