About the Role
As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for sanitizing and cleaning patients' rooms, monitoring patients' health and vital signs, and assisting patients with basic needs such as feeding and grooming. You will create a safe environment for patients and act as a liaison between patients and nurses to report any changes or concerns.
About You
Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care).
- Ability to engage with staff and patients in a professional manner.
Preferred:
- Recent experience in a healthcare environment.
- Possesses problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
