About the Role
As a Career Advisor - Resource Room/Workshop Facilitator, you will develop and present job search workshops, explain Career Center services, assess customer suitability for services, assist with employment plans, provide resume and cover letter support, and maintain the Resource Room. You will also research labor market trends and establish relationships with Career Center partners.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years of customer service or relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to work sensitively with diverse backgrounds and manage high stress situations.
Preferred:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in human services, public administration, business management or related field.
At least 2 years of experience working in a career center.
Knowledge and experience with WIOA regulations and programs.
