Summary
Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Career Development Specialist for the Baker Re-entry Center at Tallahassee State College. This full-time grant-funded position focuses on providing career development services to eligible participants in restrictive housing.
About the Role
As a Career Development Specialist, you will facilitate employability and life skills training, administer assessments, and provide instruction for the Compass 100 Hybrid curriculum. You will also connect participants with community providers and employers, report on program metrics, and maintain documentation of services delivered.
About You
Required:
- An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university or a high school diploma.
- Two (2) years of professional experience in the workforce development, social services, or corrections field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
Preferred:
- An Associate’s Degree and one year of experience in the social services or corrections field.
