About the Role
As a Career Services Specialist, you will manage a caseload of clients, providing individual and group mentoring to help participants achieve their career, educational, and vocational goals. You will assess participants' skills and interests, collaborate with employers to create job leads, maintain accurate records, and deliver career workshops. This position requires a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about supporting others through case management and job placement.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of participants, employers, and community partners.
- Strong motivational and coaching skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common office software.
- Valid driver's license and insurability.
Preferred:
- Experience in workforce development or career services.
- Familiarity with local labor market trends.
