Summary
THRIVE SUPPORT SERVICES, INC is seeking a Caregiver - Personal Attendant - Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join their team in Danville, CA. The role involves providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities.
About the Role
As a Caregiver / Personal Attendant, you will support clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, meal planning and preparation, medication administration, and community outings. You will also perform light housekeeping duties and empower clients to foster their independence.
About You
Required:
- At least one (1) year experience working as a caregiver or in-home aide, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities.
- High level of accountability and dependability.
- Must be able to provide hands-on care and support including bathing, dressing, changing depends, assist with medication, etc.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid California Driver License.
- Must have access to reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to pass DOJ fingerprinting/criminal background check.
- Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
- Must be able to obtain TB test result.
- Must have valid auto insurance with $100,000-$300,000 bodily injury liability insurance.
