About the Role
As a Caregiver Assistant, you will be responsible for knowing the residents you serve and providing care based on their service plans. Your daily tasks will include assisting in all aspects of a resident's daily life, meal service, and social engagement. You will also communicate with clinical leadership when a resident's needs change and have knowledge of how to care for residents with dementia.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
- Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
Preferred:
- Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
