Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver to join their team at The Cottage of Carmel in Carmel, CA. The role involves providing personal assistance and daily care to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.
About the Role
As a Caregiver, you will assist residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring. You will respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining their dignity and safety, communicate any changes in residents' conditions to supervisors, and maintain a safe environment. Teamwork and cooperation with co-workers and other departments are essential.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong desire to work with the elderly.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
Preferred:
- Experience in caregiving preferred but not necessary; training will be provided.
