About the Role
As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting residents with personal care, medication reminders, and engaging them in social and recreational activities. You will ensure the dignity and individuality of each resident is upheld while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your duties will include monitoring changes in resident needs and responding to emergencies as necessary.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must meet in-service training requirements.
- Must have a desire to work with seniors in a respectful environment.
- Must be able to organize and use time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work well in a team.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with seniors.
- Experience performing caregiving tasks.
