AmeriCARE Denver is seeking a Caregiver to join their team in Greenwood Village, CO. The role involves providing essential daily care to elderly or disabled individuals, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and medication management.
About the Role
As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for reminding clients to take prescribed medications, assisting with personal care and hygiene, helping with mobility, and performing light housekeeping duties. You will also collect information about clients' conditions and treatment plans, report any unusual incidents, and act quickly in emergencies.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
- Adherence to health and safety standards.
- Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
Preferred:
- CNA Certification.
- Previous caregiver experience.
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
