12 Oaks Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver to join their team in Sulphur Springs, TX. The role involves providing resident services, including personal care assistance, medication reminders, and facilitating social activities.
About the Role
As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting residents with personal care, medication management, and engaging them in social and recreational activities. You will ensure the dignity and well-being of each resident by adhering to their service plans and responding to their needs in a timely manner. Your duties will also include maintaining a clean and safe environment, monitoring changes in residents' health, and reporting any concerns appropriately.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must meet in-service training requirements.
- Must have a desire to work with seniors and uphold their dignity and independence.
- Must be able to organize and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and spend long periods walking/standing.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with seniors.
- Experience performing caregiving tasks.
