Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services is seeking a Case Manager (Adoption Promotion Support Services) to join their team in Palmdale, CA. The role involves providing support for children and adults in the APSS program by connecting them with resources and assisting with the adoption process.
About the Role
As a Case Manager, you will conduct intake processes for newly referred clients, access community resources, interface with various agencies, assist families in developing needs assessments, provide advocacy and parenting education, document client strengths and needs, facilitate support groups, and ensure compliance with legal and agency guidelines.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- Experience providing support services or direct client services in the community.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (English / Spanish).
- Experience working in programs focused on Adoption.
