Summary
Global Refuge is seeking a Case Manager and Employment Specialist to join their team in Boerne, TX. The role involves providing case management, employment, and supportive services to newly arriving refugees and other eligible populations.
About the Role
As a Case Manager and Employment Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting newly arriving refugees with their integration and self-sufficiency. Your duties will include providing culturally appropriate support, creating service plans, offering employment services such as job readiness training, and maintaining regular contact with clients. You will also conduct outreach to potential employers and community networks to facilitate connections for clients.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a Social Work or behavioral/human services field or two years of experience providing case management and/or social services.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience working with refugees, immigrants, or limited English speakers.
- Fluency in one of the key languages used by client populations (e.g., Arabic, Dari, Farsi, French, Swahili).
- Cross-cultural or international experience.
