About the Role
As the Casework Manager 2, you will be responsible for organizing and administering the activities of Northumberland County Children and Youth Services. Your duties will include preparing annual service plans, coordinating social services with other county programs, supervising lower-level social service supervisors, interpreting regulations, conducting staff meetings, and representing the program at community and regional meetings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in social welfare, social sciences, education, or a related field.
- Considerable understanding of laws and regulations pertaining to county children and youth services programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers and subordinates.
- Ability to follow and provide complex oral and written instructions.
- Experience in programs involving the provision of services to children and youth.
Preferred:
- Progressive experience as a casework supervisor.
- Experience working for and/or with other Human Services agencies.
- Formal and informal training in the conduct and administration of children and youth services programs.
