About the Role
As a Cashier Administrative Clerk, you will be responsible for answering phones, assisting customers at the front counter, processing payments, balancing the cash drawer, and performing routine filing. You will also assist the Administrative Assistant/Permit Clerk as directed and handle other related duties as required by the Department Director/Supervisor.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalency.
- Minimum of one (1) year of secretarial/receptionist experience.
- Ability to learn applicable procedural guidelines related to permits, codes, ordinances and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to accurately deal with difficult situations.
