About the Role
As a Cath Lab Tech/Rad Tech, you will assist the physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac catheterization lab patients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring quality of imaging, monitoring hemodynamic data, maintaining radiation safety, and assisting with aseptic techniques during procedures. You will also be involved in calibrating monitoring devices, preparing procedural documentation, and maintaining inventory control of supplies.
About You
Required:
- Completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology and ARRT registry, with a valid Iowa Radiology technologist permit to practice.
- Two years of related experience required.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 3 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Basic EKG monitoring class preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred within 6 months of hire.
- Mandatory Reporter certification required within 3 months of hire.
